The sequel to Roger Bean's hit musical comedy The Marvelous Wonderettes, Winter Wonderettes picks up the action on Christmas 1968 -- a few months after the singing ladies' 10-year high school reunion. Directed by Wonderettes creator, Roger Bean, the show brings back the signature four-part harmony of Missy, Suzy, Betty Jean, and Cindy Lou, with songs like "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Santa Baby," "Jingle Bell Rock," "O Tannenbaum" and "Mele Kalikimaka." Starring Misty Cotton, Julie Dixon-Jackson, Bets Malone and Lowe Taylor.

Musical Theatre West Brings Spamalot to Long Beach

Full Price:
$53.00 - $68.00
Our Price:
$26.50 - $34.00

Musical Theatre West brings its 59th season to a close with one of the funniest shows on Earth, Monty Python's Spamalot. Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical, Spamalot lovingly rips off the film classic Monty Python and The Holy Grail to tell the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their epic quest. However, diverting a bit from the real story, this hilarious musical features such oddities as a line of beautiful dancing girls, flatulent Frenchmen and killer rabbits. A cast of professional actors from the Broadway, Hollywood and national tours, as well as the best in local talent, will perform the show with the original Broadway sets and costumes. Learn More

Between the Marvelous Wonderettes and the Winter Wonderettes, I have seen these shows in varies venues since March 2007, and to date, probably over 100 times now! So anything with the Wonderettes, you MUST go see, cuz they're simply, marvelous! But I must say, this adaption of the Winter Wonderettes at MTW was by far the BEST production ever! Amazing sets/props, live band, and the girls were in their signature colored dresses...LOVED IT! And seeing any show at MTW is a real treat, because it's one of the finest theatres I've been to. And of course, to top of the evening perfectly, I was able to capture two awesome photos with "my girls". Special thanks to "the powers that be" at MTW for allowing these photos to happen. And of course, thanks to "my girls" for always putting a smile on my face!! =)
