The LA Dance Invitational is a choreographers' showcase featuring dance-makers from Southern California and across the U.S., with a special focus on presenting emerging choreographers. LADI has been nominated four times for the prestigious Lester Horton Award for Best Production, Series or Festival. This year's event, the eighth, is a tribute to the late dancer and teacher Stanley Holden, who was LADI's mentor, supporter and producer from its beginning.

BRILLIANT night of dance and a magical tribute to one of Ballets greats MR STANLEY HOLDEN. Michael Roberts piano tribute was one of the Highlights of the evening along with Melissa Allen's beautiful ballet tribute MAGIC DANCER to Mr. Holden. All in all excellent job by Producers Howard Ibach, Jamie Nichols Richard Kuller adn the BRILLIANT lighitng design by Eileen Cooley.Written on Sep 17 2007
