The annual Summerland Tour comes to the Wiltern in Los Angeles, and as usual, it brings with it some of the biggest names in alternative rock. Only until April 5, you can pick up tickets through Goldstar before they're available to the public and enjoy four '90s heavyweights, including tour founders Everclear. Led by frontman Art Alexakis, Everclear recorded hits like "Santa Monica," "Everything to Everyone," "I Will Buy You a New Life" and "Wonderful." They're joined by Filter, who had two platinum albums and recorded hits including "Take a Picture" and "Hey Man, Nice Shot." Hailing from Pennsylvania, Live sold 8 million copies of 1994's Throwing Copper, and reached the top 5 of the Billboard alternative charts with "Lightning Crashes," "Selling the Drama," "Lakini's Juice," "Turn My Head," "All Over You" and "The Dolphin's Cry." Rounding out the lineup, Sponge will be playing hits such as "Plowed," "Molly (16 Candles Down the Drain)" and "Wax Ecstatic (To Sell Angelina)." Learn More

Written on Jun 04 2012I saw Lindsey Buckingham perform with a full band in 2008 on the Tulsa, Oklahoma stop of his tour. He was absolutely AMAZING, so when I saw that he was performing at The Wiltern and that tickets were available on Goldstar, it was very exciting. This solo acoustic performance did not disappoint. He was really phenomenal, and so friendly and chatty with the audience. His family was in the audience, too, and he was so humble. We rode the Metro and the Wiltern Theatre is just across the street from the train station, so it was super-convenient, saved us rush hour traffic on a Friday evening, and saved us having to find (& pay for) parking! Win-win-win! If you get a chance to see Lindsey Buckingham perform, DON'T MISS IT! And The Wiltern is a wonderful venue!
Written on May 14 2012Worst concert i have been to in years!!!
Written on May 09 2012Man can he sing-still has a great voice. Loved all his guitars- the red one was my favourite. He sang a couple of Fleetwood MAc song and I would have like at least a couple more. But overall it was great!
Written on May 08 2012Lindsey Buckingham is truly an amazing artist. One of the most underrated guitar players of our time. A real living legend.
With that said, I'd have to say I was a little disappointed that he did only manage to play an hour. It felt like just when the evening really started to get going, it was over. That was unfortunate.
The venue set up as odd. The seats were portable & extremely uncomfortable. Also, they were not arranged in a manner that allowed everyone to see well. This made for a lot of people getting up and moving around during the concert which lead to many distracting moments. The theater itself was beautiful on the inside. The bathrooms, however, could stand to use some renovations.
