Submarines were a great opening act and Brazilian Girls blew my mind! People were really enjoying themselves - dancing and singing along to the music. The Wiltern is not only a stunning, but also very intimate. If you really want to be u-close to the performance arrive aprox. 1 hour early because the first 250 people are allowed in the section closest to the stage!

The Wiltern Theatre first opened its doors to movie crowds on October 7th, 1931, as the Warner Theatre - a part of the Warner Brothers chain of first-run theaters. Brazilian Girls is a band from New York City known for their eclectic blend of electronic dance music with musical styles as diverse as tango, chanson, house and lounge. None of the members are actually from Brazil and the only female in the band is lead singer Sabina Sciubba. Other members include keyboardist Didi Gutman, drummer Aaron Johnston and former bassist Jesse Murphy.
The band has released three studio albums up to date: Their self-titled debut album in 2005; their second album, entitled Talk to La Bomb, released in September 2006; and third album New York City, released on August 5, 2008.
