Mother Nature and human nature collide as actor-comedian Bryan Coffee brings his humorous one-man show Brink of Extinction to the stage at Trepany House. Coffee utilizes his vocal sound effects and physical comedy skills to brainstorm a list of characters and locations that he feels are headed toward an inevitable explosion and an ugly end. John Breen directs the hilarious, thought-provoking Brink of Extinction, which was written by Coffee, who previously performed The Weekly Armenian and directs the nationally loved physical comedy duo Ten West. He is a graduate of the Second City L.A. and has had television appearances on Monk and Blue Collar TV.

Extremely fearless and skilled young funny man...who has deep down goodness and smarts. Went to see him because I had just seen a wonderful reading he did of another show. I DO NOT KNOW HIM. He is the real deal and with all the stylization and fantasy...he keeps it all very real. Best one man show I have seen in LA...and I am OLD. Hope he brings it back in Jan-Feb.

One of the most brilliant pieces of theater I've seen in a long time. Thought provoking and absolutely HILARIOUS at the same time. Brian Coffee is virtuousic in his ability to tell the story, be true to the characters, and yet allow the audience to feel the satire underneath. A truly amazing performance. I'm going to see it again. Don't miss it!!

honestly, this was one of the most amazing solo shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Bryan's characters were amazing, his physicality was amazing, and his use of sound (of which he makes them all himself) was absolutely poetic AND hilarious.
Treat yourself. You will not be disappointed.
