Two of the best bluesmen ever to pick up a six-string team up for what's sure to be an unmatched night of guitar heroism on the outdoor stage at the Greek. Eric Clapton himself calls Buddy Guy "the greatest living blues guitarist in the world," and his explosive electric style and showmanship have influenced legends ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Jimmy Page and way beyond. Guy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, and was also named one of the top 25 guitarists in history by Rolling Stone. Grammy-winning guitarist and singer Jonny Lang was a true child prodigy, who released his first album at age fourteen, and he's only gotten better and more soulful with age. His latest is Live at the Ryman, which captures one of his legendary concert performances. He's also toured with the greats of blues and rock, including The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, Aerosmith and Jeff Beck, along with playing on recent albums by Carlos Santana and Cyndi Lauper.

This event was great, both artists were outstanding. Buddy not only is an great blues guitarist is a consumate entertainer. He was very intamate with the audience. The Greek is a large venue, but he was able to make a conection I have never seen before. He also was very generous by introducing two very young guitarists. Great show all around. I'm so sorry if anyone missed it.

Buddy Guy, a blues icon and Jonny Lang who opened the show for Buddy were both great. The 2 boys who Buddy brought on stage to play guitars at the end of the show were also a blast.
