It's a competition for the best craft beer in town -- and you get to be the judge. The California Gold Rush Beer Tasting Competition at Santa Anita Park is pitting 10 local craft beers against each other for the chance to be featured at the Farriers Bar in the Club House. For your part, you'll get to sample each of the 10 beers in 3 oz. tasting portions and cast your vote for your favorite. You'll also get to enjoy two full-size craft beers and a carvery sandwich and chips from the Santa Anita Park carveries, which are practically legendary. Wow! What a Jewel to find in Los Angeles. Had a great time with Chef Tracy as I learned how to make gumbo. I enjoyed the class so much that I went out and "attempted" to recreate the meal. I concluded I need to attend more classes :-) Jamaican Getaway here I come!!!!
