This is a charity event and not a full production show; it shows from the moment you stand in the Will Call line. I was in line like most other Goldstar members 10 minutes after the show supposed to start. Well, what do you do? Of course, you let everyone in; after all, the show must start. Well, good news is most people got better seating than what they have purchased. The lighting is off key, and the sound has glitches, and audiences were using flashlight camera and cell phone to read the program. Sounds like everything but a normal theater experience right? But alas, this is a charity event after all. And all these unexpected things actually add up to the spontaneous nature of the event. Everyone in the audience had a good time as far as I can tell once the show started. There is no beautiful customs, no fancy lighting, and the sets are simple, but it is not about the setting or the theme. It is all about the stars coming together to raise money for the cats on the street. They gave their best and everyone had fun on stage, and their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. I had a blast. Everything could go wrong, did, but it was an experience like no other.Written on Aug 08 2011

All proceeds benefit Kitty Bungalow - Charm School for Wayward Cats, a local Los Angeles non-profit cat rescue, dedicated to help find every cat a warm lap!

We are also committed to providing grown ferals their GED diplomas by providing spay/neuter services in the form of Trap Neuter Release (TNR). Our mission is to provide all cats able to adjust to indoor life with a warm and loving lifelong home, while providing those cats who need to continue living outdoors with a caring colony manager, assuring all cats, lap or otherwise, a humane and happy existence.
The cat overpopulation is not a cat problem, it is a people problem caused by uneducated and sometime irresponsible pet owners who abandon their cats or do not have them sterilized, causing a proliferation of cats being born on the street. Together we can bring an end to the homeless kitten epidemic. You can do your part by adopting, volunteering or donating to our organization today.
