It was simply a marvelous evening, put together by a couple who truly believed in what they were doing. The acts were fun and spirited, and they had great silent auction items. They made everyone feel welcome. It was a great evening, and they had plans to do it again next year. So keep an eye out for a new and entertaining annual event!

"Celebrating Gilda" is a variety show highlighting the talents of the nation's top performers from film, TV and the stage to celebrate the career and influence of legendary comic actress Gilda Radner. Acts will include stand-up comedy, improv, music and scenes from the play "Bunny Bunny". "In September, my mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, that has a 99% mortality rate, the highest of any cancer. She lives in Buffalo, NY and Gilda's Club Western New York is there for people like my mom. My father in-law, was also diagnosed with prostate cancer. I had to do something. So, my husband, Paul Preston and I rolled up our sleeves and decided to put on this event."-- Karen Volpe Preston, producer

Gilda's Club Western New York is a non-profit support community that offers emotional and social support as a supplement to medical care for men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their families and friends. About the Ticket Supplier: Preston and Volpe Entertainment

Preston & Volpe is Paul Preston and Karen Volpe, a comedy duo based in Los Angeles. What they deliver is original comedy material for performances at colleges, corporate events, radio, and specialized occasions. A Preston & Volpe show guarantees inventive improvisation and sketches, plus material can be suited to any event or party and the results are always hilarious.

Paul and Karen came together in 1991 when they realized they had a strong love of the same thing - comedy. They were inspired by the works of Gilda Radner and Steve Martin and duos Burns & Allen and Nichols & May. Together they began writing original material, quite often with Karen providing outrageous ideas, and Paul scripting them into funny sketches.

Preston and Volpe are producing "Bunny Bunny" with proceeds going to Gilda's Club, a support organization for cancer patients and their families.
