A painfully bad opener, Marc's talented wife, and then Marc himself. It was fun to see how he handled a room of older patrons as opposed to the usual fratboy comedy club atmosphere. He was on and we all laughed a lot but the room got mighty hot and we couldnt wait to leave when it was all over.

More Information About Comedian-Talk Show Host Marc Maron

Quotes & Highlights

 • "There's no hell like being a seer in modern times, but it's a burden that the mystically neurotic, hyper-intelligent comic Marc Maron gladly bears to make us laugh." --New Yorker

Description

A regular on such venerable shows as Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Late Show with David Letterman, Maron is known for his incisive cultural and political commentary, mystical ruminations, and neurotic insights into human nature. Considered one of the hottest alternative comics in the business, Marc has appeared on just about every television show that books comedians and has landed roles in several feature films.

His thought-provoking brand of humor takes the audience on uncharted territory with hilarious looks at the world of corporate competition and why the cooking channel is the only pure form of television. His show Jerusalem Syndrome, which examines Marc's quest for spirituality, played for months to sold-out houses in New York and was called "the best one-man show in New York City" by the New York Press.

Maron was co-host of Air America's "Morning Sedition" for two years and launches "the Marc Maron Show" Feb. 28 on LA's Air America affiliate (KTLK AM 1150) Monday thru Fridays from 10-midnight. Tune in!
