Not just funny, but played Bush as awkward and desperate for approval in a very Bushian way. At his best when taking questions from the audience, Troy was quick witted, funny and stayed in character no matter what came his way. Get there early to examine the art on the walls - that alone was worth the trip.Written on Oct 11 2010

Troy Conrad is SPOT ON with his impersonation of George Dubya Bush. If only we could have gotten the actual man himself to be this candid with the American public. Funny, horrifying, touching and painfully real in his presentation. Great work from a very talented performer.Written on Mar 29 2010

Funny, cathartic, and surprisingly touching. Conrad manages the impossible, humanizing the Great Satan of our lifetimes, and does it with humor and grace. GO!Written on Mar 16 2010

Description
George W. Bush gives an honest account of details left out of his upcoming memoir, Decision Points, as well as a deeply personal trip through the DSM-IV manual. Written and performed by Troy Conrad and co-written by Emmy-Award winner Rick Overton. After excellent reviews in New York and Minneapolis, Inside the Decider is unlike any show that has ever been done on the former President, and a vast departure from the "Bush is stupid" jokes.
Troy Conrad (Dublin Fringe Festival, SF Improv Festival, Calgary Funnyfest, The Jay Mohr Roast) as George W. Bush, and is a tour through the secret omissions from Bush’s book. This is an honest, comedic look into the soul of Bush.
Written by Troy Conrad and Emmy-Award winner Rick Overton (Dennis Miller Live, The Informant, The Green Room with Paul Provenza), the show received excellent reviews at its openings in Los Angeles, New York City, and Minneapolis. This is the show that has never been done on Bush, and looks not to the past, but inside.
The show has been described as Bush on the Couch meets Bush on Truth Serum, and was developed in Los Angeles during live Frost/Nixon style interviews former Real Time with Bill Maher writer and Emmy Award winner David Feldman.
Personally Chosen by George Lopez to open for him on tour, Troy Conrad is a comic who has no fear of making the controversial into comedy. A writer for The Jay Mohr Roast on NBC, and a guest on The Stephanie Miller Show, Troy is a comic, writer, and improviser trained at Second City Los Angeles Conservatory, Improv Olympic West, and Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre. Troy has performed at comedy clubs throughout the U.S., and festivals in Montreal, Dublin, Philadelphia, Calgary, and Vancouver, and performed with Arizona’s resident professional Shakespeare company, Southwest Shakespeare.
