Three of the modern era's most fascinating personalities -- Founding Father Thomas Jefferson, Victorian novelist Charles Dickens and Russian revolutionary Count Leo Tolstoy -- are brought together in a blistering battle of wits for the ages in Discord. From Scott Carter (executive producer of Real Time with Bill Maher) comes this whip-smart new comedy that examines what happens when great men of history are forced to repeat it. Called "funny and thought-provoking" by the Los Angeles Times, the play takes the form of a meticulously -- and hilariously -- crafted debate among Jefferson (Larry Cedar), Dickens (David Melville) and Tolstoy (Armin Shimerman), who find themselves locked in an interrogation room until they can reconcile their vastly opposing theological differences. Just a word of warning- avoid parking at the Target parking lot. Save yourself a lot of hassle and pay the $7.00 to park in the Geffen parking lot. I parked at the Target lot to save $2.00. Ugh! They have Gestapo parking lot attendents.Dixie's Tupperware Party info • Sep 01 2014 star this tip starred
