Basically this was just a comedy club that had some promotional material from the movie "No Strings Attached". The promotional material consisted of some t-shirts, cups and address books. These appeared to be crudely done and were printed with no pictures on them. The comedy sets themselves had nothing to do with the movie. Garrett Morris of SNL fame was the unannounced host for the night. The host and other employees were very encouraging for everyone attending to imbibe (drink) liberally to make the comedians material funnier. Unfortunately the comedians were not very funny in my opinion. (My wife and I did not have any alcohol at the club). The only funny bits were done by a improv group called the Omelets.Written on Jan 24 2011
The club was full and the majority of those attending were under the age of 30 and seemed to enjoy the comedy sets more than my wife and I did. Since the performers will vary from one night to another it's difficult to know if this would be the same level, good or bad, every night. The club employees seemed very appreciative that people would come to the club because of it's location.
Bottom line....I couldn't recommend this club to other Goldstar members.

Description
The Downtown Comedy Club presents an evening of fun and laughter based upon the Paramount Pictures movie starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, No Strings Attached.
Lifelong friends Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) take their relationship to the next level by having sex.
