Soak up the old Hollywood atmosphere while enjoying an evening of Spanish cuisine and flamenco dancing on the beautiful wooden stage at El Cid in Silverlake. The historic venue is a beautiful indoor-outdoor Spanish villa-style complex, and a night of flamenco could happen in no better venue. Expect dazzling footwork and singing from the talented dancers and musicians. Each ticket includes a three-course Spanish dinner with choice of entrée and the show, but not additional beverages, food items or tip. Learn More

This was Valentines day and the whole place was decked out with red tablecloths and hearts everywhere. There are several flights of stairs you need to descend from street level. I don't think it is handicap accessible as there did not seem to be an elevator.
The menu is preset for this special event with only a choice of entrees. The meal included a small bottle of Champaign and a darling little cocktail served in a chocolate cup! The food wasn't anything to write home about but he service was very good, and the staff friendly.
It was a fun show, and a really good experience. . The live spanish guitar was excellent and the flamenco dancing was fun to see, although not all the performers had the same energy level. This is perhaps due to the fact that the youngest of them was middle aged.
The atmosphere is really special as the structure is quite old and historic.
I would recommend this event for Valentines day or for a romantic date.
