Hailed as "the best musical of this century" by Ben Brantley of The New York Times and "the funniest musical of all time" by Entertainment Weekly, The Book of Mormon won nine Tony Awards -- including Best Musical -- in its first year on Broadway. Now the national touring production is back at the Pantages for a second round of hilarity. Written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone along with Robert Lopez, the Tony-winning co-creator of Avenue Q, this musical comedy is a show that The Daily Show's Jon Stewart has called "a crowning achievement. So good it makes me angry." Learn More

Well written and well played, particularly by the "Satan" actor. Tech was top notch with a great minmalist set and sound effects. Good choreography. I am not possitive that the songs work given the mimimal vocal skills of Adam and Eve. The nude body suits would have been fine for the amount of time tht those two are on stage, but the undergarment outlines really takes you out of the illusion.
Quotes & Highlights
“Having been lulled into a false confidence that I knew exactly where this show was heading, I was delightedly surprised by the unexpected plot developments following the seduction of Eve. And what an Eve! Played by Kendra Smith, this is certainly not the Eve from the Bible. This Eve kicks ass!” -www.socal.com
“Part parable, part comic strip fable, part action drama, the play speaks powerfully to the unseen forces and symbols which dominate our lives.” -LA Weekly
“The writing is nothing short of top notch & the acting is a tour de force! God’s creations run amok! Robert Cohen directs what could have been a convoluted story into a masterpiece of ironies.”_ —Boy About Town_
“This is definitely not one you’ll take your Sunday school class to, but with the provocative way in which Reynolds re-engineers the cosmos, you’ll most assuredly leave with a few new ideas in your head.” —The Tolucan Times
“Chris Marshall is a pretty hot Satan, so who can really blame her?” —Backstage
