I didn't like the fact that she refused to sing any of her hit songs that people were clamoring for! I also thought it was terrible that she kept looking at her watch. I have never seen an artist only sing one song after an encore. It was as if she couldn't wait to get out of there1Written on Oct 31 2009

Singer Gal Costa, one of the true voices and visionaries of modern Brazilian music, concentrates on the seductive intimacy and intricacy of samba and bossa novas in an exquisite duet concert with acclaimed guitarist Oscar Castro-Neves.
Costa’s groundbreaking recordings launched Brazil’s heady Tropicalia movement in the late ’60s; Songs by composers Caetano Veloso, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others were first made famous on Costa’s albums. She’ll revisit some of those hits, as well as music from her new albums, including “Bossa Tropical” and “Hoje,” both embraced by critics around the world.
Castro-Neves, who is also a noted composer- arranger-producer, had his first hit record in Brazil at age 16. A few years later he was at the forefront of the bossa nova invasion of the U.S., and ever since he has dazzled audiences with his distinctively warm, delicate and vivacious guitar.
