It was okay. Maybe it was because it was the 10 p.m. show and the comics were tired, but a few acted as if they just wanted to go home and get some sleep. Some were funny.Written on Jun 23 2008

it just so happens the headliner at the end of the show decided to write off the audience of mostly older vacationing clientele who were staying at the hotel and probably stumbled upon the comedy show happening at the hotel restaurant. my friend and I were not one of them. we were locals hoping for good comedy and what we got were GREAT openers but a really horrendous headliner that gave up even before he started. he insulted the guests, never did his own real material and spewed off about racist and offensive jokes that weren't even that original. i'd go back...if only this guy was NOT on the bill.Written on Jul 27 2008

Description
October 3-4: Vince Morris, Sarah Tiana
Vince's voice is strong and spreading quickly, hitting the road headlining at comedy clubs, theatres, and colleges around the country. Now a Los Angeles resident, Vince has flourished into television on such shows as Comedy Central's Tough Crowd, The Late Late Show, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, BET's Comic View, HBO's Sex And The City, and his own half-hour comedy special on Comedy Central. Vince has also showcased at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
Originally from Georgia, Sarah Tiana is quickly taking Hollywood by storm. Having opened for some of the biggest names in show business (Chris Rock and Dave Attell, amongst others,) she is ready to breakout on her own and prove that you can't always judge a book by its cover. On her decision to to become a standup comic, Sarah says: "Don't get me wrong, I love my hometown and the great "Red" state, I'm just glad no one told me I was bad in bed or I might be making a living in a short skirt on Crenshaw right now."
October 10-11: All-Star Comedy and Blues Weekend
October 17-18: J.D. Shapiro, Brian Swinehart
J.D. Shapiro is the writer of the smash hit comedy Robin Hood: Men In Tights directed by the legendary Mel Brooks. He also wrote & directed the award winning independent film “We Married Margo.” He is currently co-creating a new superhero series with Stan Lee and is gearing up to direct Knights! Of The Not So Round Table for National Lampoon. J.D. also has a new book that is going to be released at the end of 2008.
Brian Swinehart is one of the fasting rising stars in standup comedy. This Los Angeles native is so diverse with his train of thought, that one can clearly see and hear everyone from Bill Cosby to the late, great Sam Kinison running through his comic veins. Brian is currently preparing to tape his first ½ hour special for Comedy Central.
October 24-25: Sam Tripoli
Sam Tripoli views comedy as a calling rather a profession. It's a religion that he's been preaching to audiences at comedy clubs across the country and on television, including his hit new show The Wild World Of Spike on Spike TV. He has also appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend (receiving only one of two standing ovations in the history of the show) and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. On stage he's a force of nature, pacing the stage like a cyclone of funny as he questions authority and the conventions of our society one moment, then earnestly expresses his affinity for the bizarre the next.
When he's not on the road performing at colleges and clubs across the country, he's in Los Angeles working on new material, because one day soon there will be a rapture.
