The legendary comedic icon, Garrett Morris hosts a MAH-velously good time at his new comedy club www.thedowntowncomedyclub.com...a wide variety of amazing talent in a smart, hip little venue with superb ambiance inside the Hotel Alexandria...I recommend it for anyone who loves comedy and ESPECIALLY those of us who love Garrett...

...this was the club's BEST show yet (and I've attended a few!) The energy...both that of the talent and of the audience was magnetic...and Garrett, like the finest of wines has only improved with age! This club is consistently a howling good time that certainly rivals anything that Hollywood proper has to offer...I recommend this venue for all who enjoy stand-up and especially those of us who love Garrett...

this was a lot of fun. i laughed so hard!! i will go again!

Every Thursday: All-Star Comedy Jam

This is the night when you get to see some of Hollywood’s finest up close and personal.

April 4-5: Tony Dijamco

For over eleven years, Tony Dijamco has made a name for himself on the national comedy scene by blending his extensive and explosive stage presence with his one of a kind, sardonic sense or humor. And don't let that "boy next door" facade fool you, either. Time and time again, he has proven that no subject is too personal and no topic is beyond approach. And neither Tony nor his fans would have it any other way.

April 11-12: Kings of Vegas

Featuring spectacular production elements, a one-of-a-kind pre-show experience, and some of the most outrageous comedy acts to join together on one stage. Kings of Vegas is a powerful comedy experience that touches audiences from the moment of arrival to the last laughs of the grand finale.
April 18-19: Tom McClain and friends
The oldest of three children, he was raised in a typical dysfunctional American family. Growing up in one of Sacramento’s roughest neighborhoods, he quickly learned the value of his satire as it saved him from several good beatings. Tom has a unique ability to banter with any audience. His audiences take delight in his ability to humorously share intimate details of his marriage, past relationships, and many questionable life decisions. Tom currently hosts a popular late night style talk show at Constable Jack's Blues Club in Newcastle, CA and is working on a hilarious sitcom with his brother Ryan called "The Party Brothers"!
April 25-26: Joe Bartnick
Joe started as a stand up in SF and is now making it happen in LA. He can be heard every morning on Playboy Radio's morning show on Sirius. He can be seen talking sports on the Regular Joes at YeahSports.net; His sports blog also appears there. He is a performer/writer on the Ian Bagg Show. He recently wrote and starred in 5 sketches due out on the comedytime.tv network. Although Joe has many writing jobs and doesn't tour as much as he used to, catch him if you can, because he still takes out the whipping stick.
