Captive parking. $12.00. Considering most L.A. parking fees are pretty reasonable, even the Chandler Pavilion UCLA has a lot of nerve charging for that charge for parking off-hours in what is largely an empty lot.

I wore Jeans and a Jacket. It was one of those audiences where it would be difficult to underdress..

We had a good time. The level of talent was amazing. The seats weren't worth the price paid. While we were close, they were so far off to the left that our sight line was skewed. However, it was for a good cause.

Description

Tony Winners Audra McDonald, Sara Ramirez and Loretta Devine will headline _Good Medicine.  _The evening will include musical performances by Paul Adelstein, Amy Brenneman, Tim Daly, T.R. Knight, Chris Lowell, James Pickens, Gina Taylor-Pickens and Chandra Wilson.  Justin Chambers, Eric Dane, Taye Diggs, Katherine Heigl, Chyler Leigh, Sandra Oh, Ellen Pompeo, Brooke Smith, Kadee Strickland and Shonda Rhimes are also participating in the program.

The evening will benefit the Solidarity Fund — a Fund set up by the Writer’s Guild of America to help crew members of film and television productions who were put out of work by the strike. While the strike is now over, it will be weeks or months before many are back to work.  The casts of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” are coming out in force to raise money to support those who make Hollywood magic possible.
