Beloved holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life comes to the stage as a live 1940s-era radio broadcast. The Kentwood Players present this special radio-style performance of the Frank Capra holiday masterpiece live on stage at the Westchester Playhouse, which is transformed into Studio A at WBFR in New York on Christmas Eve, 1946. With the help of a talented ensemble that brings dozens of characters to the stage, the story of George Bailey unfolds as the down-on-his-luck family man considers ending it all one fateful Christmas Eve. Luckily for George, a guardian angel intervenes and shows him all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community would be had he never been born. This production is appropriate for all ages, so bring the entire family and enjoy this heartwarming holiday story together. Learn More

There were quite a few mistakes during this play, perhaps because it was so close to the opening date. Slow moving, acting needs improvement. We left at the intermission (never do that).Young Helen was OK, did not see the older Helen.
