One hundred and forty of Hollywood's top musicians and singers will be on stage at UCLA's Royce Hall for the exciting inaugural concert program of the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. The concert will include music ranging from a premiere piece by John Williams from Memoirs of a Geisha, to Alex North's A Streetcar Named Desire to symphonic suites from Victor Young's Around the World in 80 Days. The finale will be a world premiere symphonic suite of John Scott's score for Charlton Heston's Antony and Cleopatra with special guest stars Samantha Eggar, Michael York and Alan Mandell in a stage reading of Shakespeare's wonderful dialogue.
