I really enjoyed this event & hope to attend more like it. It's really great to have a chance to both enjoy the cake & wine, as well as learn. Chrysta is clearly passionate about making cakes & sharing her knowledge & Amy's passion about wine & breadth of culinary knowledge is evident. These folks clearly enjoy what they are doing! I would agree with the other post that a little more wine wouldn't have hurt :-) Yummy & fun!Written on Sep 21 2009

Definitely a fun evening with delicious cake and wine! I'll definitely be back for more cake. For future events I'd highly recommend that the wine be served in glass not plastic regardless of the shape of the glass. Also the pours should be measured and a bit more generous to be able to appreciate the wine/cake combo.Written on Sep 21 2009

Description
Indulge in two great tastes that taste great together: wine and chocolate! Your evening will begin with a champagne cocktail welcome and a baking demonstration by the Bundt Babe herself, Chrysta Wilson, owner of Kiss My Bundt. Then enjoy a sampling of four different chocolate cakes each expertly paired with a different, premium California red wine by wine critic and cookbook author Amy Reiley of www.EatSomethingSexy.com. The class will include a tasting of wines from Rodney Strong and Peju, two noted West Coast wineries as well as Kiss My Bundt’s made-from-scratch sinful creations. Best of all, you will be among the first to taste the bakery’s yet-to-be-debuted flavor: Chocolate Bacon Cake!
