Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson Performs Thick as a Brick 1 & 2
- Full Price:
- $25.00 - $65.00
- Our Price:
- $12.50 - $45.00
Ian Anderson performs Jethro Tull's definitive prog-rock album, Thick as a Brick, plus Anderson's follow up to the album, Thick as a Brick 2, in their entirety. This tour will feature a theatrical production with video and additional musicians, including Ian's band: bassist David Goodier, keyboardist John O'Hara, drummer Scott Hammond and wunderkind guitarist Florian Opahle. British singer and actor Ryan O'Donnell will also provide vocals. He was chosen for his ability to perform vocals as they sounded on the original Thick as a Brick album. Thick as a Brick 2 revisits the first album's child poet Gerald Bostock 40 years later as an adult, proposing different scenarios for the paths he may have taken in life: greedy banker, ordinary shopkeeper, soldier, beggar or evangelical preacher. view more less of this reviewSeat as usuaal for Goldstar events sucked. So many vacant seats and these were in the last row of the 2nd section. Don't understand why they can't negotiated better seats. KC was not so good either, such a build up and production but the singing was so so. The acts prior were probably as good. Wouldn't go again, and I think I am done buing through goldstar This is the 3rd event I bought from them and everytime the seating is bad.
star this review starred report as inappropriateReally wonderful show! KC, Cheryl Lynn, Maxine Nightingale, Thelma Houston, Heatwave were stupendous. Only negative was the Greek's sound system for some of the recorded music. The Greek's lousy bass in the sound system hurt Maxine Nightingale and Thelma Houston tremendously which was a shame, because their singing was stupendous but was overshadowed by the Greek's poor equipment.
star this review starred report as inappropriateThe whole event seemed very unorganized. Goldstar reported it to start at 6pm, but didn't actually start until well after 7pm.
