My kids didn't really want to go because it was early Sunday morning. But once they got there, boy did they change their minds. They had a wonderful time and the hostess was great and very nice. She explained everything so they could understand how all the ingredients affect the recipe. My daughter and son had a lot of fun and I would definitely have them go again.Written on Sep 14 2009

My son was the only boy in this group of 9 girls. He liked the class and said he would go back. The lady running the class was very good with the kids.Written on Sep 29 2009

Took my 7 yr. old daughter and she loved it! Chrysta was very nice & patient with the kids. She explained all the steps and allowed the kids to do it on their own. Would definitely take my daughter again!Written on Sep 28 2009
Tip for parents: Class is devided into two groups, because age range varies, the little ones may not get a chance to participate as much unless they take the initiative. Fortunately, one of the girls in my daughter's group was very nice and made sure they all got a chance to use the mixer and participate fully.
One of the things my daughter was looking forward to was decorating-I think it would have been easier and funner for each child to have had their own piping bag so that they can decorate their bundts as they wished.
Overall the class was very nice, loved that Chrysta allowed them to do everything on their own. I will be looking forward to other classes the bakery has for the kids!

It was okay. However, there was only coffee, no bottled water or red wine and there were no samples offered as indicated in the Goldstar advertisement.Written on Sep 29 2009
The kids were split up in groups of five. They didn't have as much hands on as I anticipated, but it was a good experience for children that have never baked. However, my daughter likes to do things by herself as she has been baking for awhile!
