We had a very enjoyable evening. David Vox, the sax player was amazing, Roslyn Kind was wonderful, we expected some gospel but there was none, instead the choir did a hand clap number. Excellent show for a very, very good cause. Too bad it wasn't better publicized and better attended.Written on Jun 13 2011

Description
Singer-songwriter Roslyn Kind and jazz great David Benoit will join Celtic recording artist Eric Rigler and special smooth jazz musical guests in an all-star concert for humanitarian aid at Walt Disney Concert Hall. This event also features returning musical artist Ilan Davidson, the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony under the direction of Dr. Noreen Green, and Faithful Central Bible Church’s 60-voice gospel choir.
This year’s concert beneficiary is International Medical Corps, a global humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering by rehabilitating devastated health care systems and bringing communities back to self-reliance.
In addition, KindredSPIRITS special humanitarian honorees for 2011 are the iconic Dave Koz, for his work with the Starlight Foundation, and the legendary Carlos Santana, for his lifelong devotion to social activism and humanitarian causes as highlighted in his ongoing commitment to the Milagro Foundation, which he founded with his family, ANSA: Artists for New South Africa, and Architects of a New Dawn, among many others.
