Based on the 1952 revised version by Konstantin Sergeyev, this production retains the charm and essence of the first-ever 1890 production, said to be the most important ballet of the 20th century. Princess Aurora and Prince Desire are brought to life with the unparalleled grace and mastery of the Kirov Ballet with opulent new sets, exquisite costumes and Tchaikovsky’s score played live by the Kirov’s renowned orchestra.
