It was a small, quaint event, good though, nonetheless. The bundt cake samples were perfect size and if you didn't have enough of one, you can always go for more. There was a plethora of different kinds of bundts -- pistachio, mexican chocolate, red velvet, neopolitan, strawberry cream, there was even a chocolate bacon bundt. Yes, there was actually bits of bacon sprinkled on top and it was surprisingly good. The saltiness of the bacon balanced out the sweetness of the cake.

Aside to the bundt cakes, there were also beverages. Overall, I think it was completely worth the $5 cover charge. I would definitely tell people about this event and suggest that they go.

The event was kwel. Enough cake for all. They even stayed open till after 10p. I arrived late but had no problems. A very good event as an evening starter....no complaints at that price.

We loved this little fu-fu event!

We arrived fashionably late to find folk at standing tables outside of the little bakery. Check-in was nice and smooth. The size of the bakery made navigation easy. There were about 10 different kinds of cake, all more than bite-sized. But even if, you could have gone back for more. I had eaten dinner prior, so could only taste about 4 there, but they were gracious enough to let me take my other tastes home. So, in ranked order, these were my favs:
1-Red Velvet (still the best is in LB, but at this bakery, THIS was the best)
2-Carrot Cake (I like raisins, at it was lacking, but it was still good)
3-Chocolate with Cookies n' Cream frosting (moist!!! and delicious)
      My guest's favs were:
      1-Lemon Tart
      2-7Up cake
      3-Toffee Pudding

Everything else (lime basil, Mexican hot chocolate, chocolate fudge, strawberry something, etc.) was worth the entry fee. I still passed on the pistachio, just because I don't like the nut. I passed on the bacon-topped cake just because my palette couldn't fathom a meat dessert.

The proprietor was nice and engaging. The restaurant looked clean. There was water to clear the palette, but I think they charged for coffee.

Started a little late, but I know I can't eat cake for a solid two hours. There were some standouts, but overall the frosting was a little sweet for our tastes - our favorite cakes were:
1)Pistachio (the frosting was like a mouse, not too sweet or heavy, just really light and fluffy) 2)Lime Basil (the flavors were really unique but still tasted like dessert)
      3) Mandarin Chocolate (best of the chocolate, nice bitterness in the dark, tasted like those British Chocolate Oranges)
      4) Lemon lemon (not too lemony, the sour helped cut the sweet)
      5) Carrot cake - a classic classically done

This event was cool. I think my expectations were too high. It would have been better if they had contests or a better way to interact. The environment was friendly but the mood wasn't the best. A variety of different music and could have made the environment much better. Overall it was just okay for me. But see for yourself.

Delicious! Wonderful event ! The cakes were marvelous; carrot cake, chocolate cake, lime basil cake (surprisingly great, subtle hint of basil!), red velvet with cream cheese frosting. High quality!
