Description

The inimitable Kristian Hoffman will be performing at the Steve Allen Theater. The musician will perform almost all of his critically acclaimed new album FOP, in chronological order, accompanied by his full band with the added "formal" accompaniment of a string quartet.

The string quartet will be conducted by Jeff Bruner, who did many of the orchestrations, arrangements, and conducted the lavish strings for the FOP CD. The opening portion of the evening will feature 7 or 8 performers bringing their distinctive styles to a select song from Kristian's vast back catalog, from his early punk days in Mumps, through Klaus Nomi, to his current solo career. The night will include many special guests including Ann Magnuson, Kristi Callan of Wednesday Week, Carolyn Edwards of 3D Picnic, Timur Bekbosunov, and many more!
