It was a great night of live music, cool vendors (food, jewelry, clothing, and artsy stuff) and very competative and athletic women. There were fear leaders to pump up the audience and a witty to corny DJ/MC. The crowd was a mixture of young to old with all laughing and Ooo and awing. All in all it was a great time.
It would be nice if there a regular roach coach, or a king taco van, Or an In and Out trailer. The Green roach coach was just ok.

This lived up to everything we thought it would be! Fair warning though--general admit is standing room only and although it says they start at 6, the actual roller derby doesn't start until 8.

About the Ticket Supplier: LA Derby Dolls

Founded in 2003, the L.A. Derby Dolls are Southern California's premiere women's banked-track, quad-skating roller derby league. Within the league, five fierce teams battle for dominance: Fight Crew, Sirens, Swarm, Tough Cookies and Varsity Brawlers. While their uniforms may be stylish and their names playful, do not be fooled by appearances - the L.A. Derby Dolls are athletes who skate a sport that is unscripted and real. Honored as a Treasure of Los Angeles by the Central City Association, the L.A. Derby Dolls embody the do-it-yourself, "for the skaters, by the skaters" ethos of modern women's roller derby.
