I wanted to leave in the first 10 minutes. Maybe, it is a type of comedy that I am not trained to appreciate. Delivery was inconsistent (poor delivery most times); comedy was minimal. A friend who went with me was 'lost' in the trail of skits.

I generally prefer my comedy to be very crisp, but Ms. Weedman's "dialogue" meanders and is constantly cut short. It's as though she's making it up on the spot, babbling. And yet... take a step back and you know that can't be true. The story is clear and cohesive; every fumbling self-interruption was carefully planned. Add to that an array of characters, many of whom are incredibly realistic (like the older woman managing the adoption agency), and you have an entertaining evening of comedy. This isn't for everyone -- I doubt that a lazy audience would be able to follow it all -- but if you're willing to put in a little effort, I think you'll enjoy yourself.

I truly enjoy the type of humor that this actor is able to portray. I might have enjoyed and was waiting for.. a bit more cohesiveness from one character to the other as she was telling this series of funny sets of verbal pictures going from one to another.Without this.. for me.. it was as though I was listening to the same 15 minute content over and over again..Re writes might work. I hope this doesn't seem destructive as a critique.. I really mean well.

The always clever and funny Ms. Weedman knows just when to weave in the pathos, and this show is no exception. Brilliantly executed, funny, and full of cringe-worthy moments that would make Larry David squirm, her latest show is proof positive that she is one of the strongest voices in the solo performance canon (if it can be titled as such) in the country. As soon as it comes back to L.A. Go. GO!
