Description

Celebrating 50 years, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal is one of the world’s most compelling contemporary ballet companies with a diverse repertoire including works by renowned European choreographers new to US audiences. Since the arrival of Artistic Director Gradimir Pankov in 2000, the company has again and again stimulated the imagination, amazed and moved audiences with their emotional and technically-superb performances.

It is sure to be a breathtaking experience when the company performs Les Noces (The Wedding), a fast, energetic piece filled with fiery dancing by Belgian dance maker Stijn Celis and TooT by Dutch choreographer Didy Veldman, acclaimed for her quicksilver originality, humor and energetic dance theatre.
