The brand-new Mutineer Theatre Company makes its debut with the world premiere of a new dramedy by Keith Bridges. Lie With Me is a frank and oddly comic story about people who can't seem to help the damage that they inflict on one another. A lifetime of discretion and collusion is exposed as a family matriarch falls ill. The turmoil unleashed provides a psychologically sexual account of complicity on a scale that leaves no one untouched.

Kharmful Charms of Daniil Kharms is a world premiere surrealist, absurdist comedy in the style of the Russian avant-garde movement, OBERIU. Constructed from vignettes and dreamlike incidents, and set to a rousing live musical score, Kharmful Charms of Daniil Kharms is an unusual night of music, singing and dancing, where anyone in the audience wearing a fake mustache will receive a cup of soup. This play's subject matter would make it very hard to watch if it weren't so well-written and well-acted. Even as you are appalled at what has been, and is, happening within this family you want to know what will happen next and whether it will all work out okay. The simple set works for it, allowing you to focus on the dialogue and characters without any distractions.

The acting was great. the actor made a realistic story making the audience believe in what was happening.
Specially the acting from Amber Hamilton (Susan) the younger daughter to me was the best acting. Her performance was very realistic and made me very interested in her character. she takes you into the story to find out why her attitude is the way it is.
The topic of the story might be a little disturbing to some audiences as it includes incest. if you are open to sit and check a play that relates to incest then you would enjoy the play but if the subject is too strong then i recommend not going.
The only problem i could find with this play is that it might go too long. there was some points of the story where maybe the story could of ended, but it seem to drag on.

Very clever play on words and presentation. At the end of the first act you would think you had been watching a CIA type play as you don't know what to believe. The second act confirms what you preumed had taken place, but didn't really know until the play unfolded. Very good acting, and very enjoyable.
