Written on Feb 08 2013I'm not a very "arty" person, but I had a great time at the LA Art Show! I saw everything from ingenious new styles of art using tools and materials I'd never seen before to classic Renoir's, Van Gogh's and Monet's. Not everything struck my fancy, but those that did left a lasting impression. I'm so glad I took a chance and went!

Written on Jan 29 2013Very large show with a wonderful variety of works. Enjoyed our time there very much. As usual no hitches with Goldstar events/tickets. Thanks for a fun day.
One disappointment was the prices of the art. We were hoping for a variety of more affordable (hundreds $'s) pieces, but the art world is storming ahead into the multi thousand's of dollars. Tempting to get out the oils to see what I can do for the mere $25,000 price tag.
