The event was great---and the lecture before hand. I liked the way the conductor talked to the audience.Again, it's a wonderful venue.Surprisingly there were many empty seats.

The film scores were well chosen and very well played. The original scores were cutting edge for their day and it was awesome seeing all of the composer's creativity come to life. The instruments and sounds were unbelievable. The conductor made the show into a story and narrated between pieces which immersed us in the experience.

Doesn't hurt that my buddy was playing the contra bassoon (and did a great job at that!).

An incredible concert of classic film scores. Each selection had its own feel and was performed beautifully. The cellist during the DECEPTION concerto was outstanding as was the trumpet soloist for CHINATOWN. I got a great price and a great seat. Looking around the hall, it didn't look like any seat would have been a bad one. A very uniquely designed venue. Enjoyed this immensely and plan to attend more concerts there.
