Fantastic Concert!! It's great to see each band separately, but when they get together and jam...it's unbelievable!! Nice to see Los Lobos passing the torch of Music to Los Lonely Boys...the next generations great band...And the guitar playing...wow...like listening to Jimmy Hendrix and Santana at once! Look forward to seeing them again!Written on Aug 01 2011

Description
Hot off the heels of their first new studio LP in three years, Rockpango, Los Lonely Boys kick off a national tour in support of their latest release. A Spanglish word coined by the band, "Rockpango" translates more or less to "rock party," and that's exactly what the 11-track collection is. The album stands as the most personal work yet by the Grammy-winning Garza brothers — Henry, Ringo, and Jojo — who wrote, recorded and produced it themselves.
Since their breakout 2004 self-titled album, which went twice platinum and garnered a Best Pop Performance Grammy for the No 1 hit single "Heaven," Los Lonely Boys have toured all over the world, performing roughly 200 shows in front of more than 350,000 fans in 2009-10 alone. Their last studio album, 2008's Forgiven, earned the band even more critical favor, with the Los Angeles Times extolling that it "oozes bone-deep feeling throughout." The band recently performed at the March for Immigration Reform on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. before an audience of 90,000.
More than three decades have passed since Los Lobos released their debut album, Just Another Band from East L.A. Since then they've repeatedly disproven that title — Los Lobos isn't "just another" anything, but rather a band that has consistently evolved artistically while never losing sight of their humble roots.
For Tin Can Trust — Los Lobos' first release for Shout! Factory (in stores now) and first collection of new original material in four years — the venerable quintet reconnected directly with those roots by returning to East L.A. and recording at Manny's Estudio, "in a rundown neighborhood," says Los Lobos songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Louie Pérez. A rare example of longevity in a volatile music world that stresses style over substance, Los Lobos' lineup has remained uninterrupted since 1984, when saxophonist/keyboardist Steve Berlin joined original members Pérez, Hidalgo, Rosas and Lozano, each of whom had been there since the beginning in 1973.
