Two iconic American rock groups will share the stage at the Fabulous Forum this summer as Cheap Trick joins Boston for their "Heaven on Earth" tour. Known for their killer pop hooks, Boston sold millions during the '70s and '80s with their catchy version of prog rock. Their self-titled debut was one of the fastest-selling pop debuts in history, spawning three hit singles that became American classics: "More Than a Feeling," "Long Time" and "Peace of Mind." At the same time, Cheap Trick was perfecting the delicate balance between power pop and hard rock that made them a major influence on future punk, metal and alternative bands. Songs like "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender" and "Dream Police," along with their dynamic live performances, sealed their reputation as arena rock gods. Now, 40 years into their careers, the two bands are still going strong. The "Heaven on Earth" tour is traveling the country in support of Boston's sixth studio album release, Life, Love & Hope, and this is one of a select few appearances where Cheap Trick will be performing with them. 9 of us drove to eat at Korean BBQ, in Korea town, that took us about 10 min or so to arrive to. If your in such a large group I suggest breaking it up in two to be seated much faster, also read rules as restuarant we sat at charged for meat left over by the pound? We also ended choosing the 9.99 menue each and somehow ended up paying a $20 gratuity fee, that unless it was written in Korean we did not know about prior, nor told about. This turned out to be less than what we normally would have tipped., hidden fees are just not fun.Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker dining • Dec 20 2013 star this tip starred

The Luckman Jazz Orchestra continues their season-long tribute to great jazz masters with a musical salute to Mr. Thelonius Monk. Under the direction of Charles Owens, the LJO’s all-star line up is certain to invoke the fluidity and precision that Monk all but invented.
