Written on May 17 2012The food was ok, waiter was friendly, music fine. However, the whole deal is not worth the price when you add in the extra costs. Gratitutes were marked up which is not based on the goldstar price, but based on their regular menu price. + parking. End up spending about 90 bucks for 2 person.
Written on May 10 2012The entertainment was excellent.
The service was extremely poor. They forgot part of our meal, had too ask for refills, and they completely ran out of dessert.
Written on May 10 2012The restaurant was easy to find and has a large $5 parking lot right next door. There seemed to be some confusion over our reservations at the front desk, and some of our names were not accounted for. We got happy hour priced margaritas at the bar while we waited for the rest of our party and delicious chips and salsa. The margaritas were good, also. The waiters were friendly, however, when it came time to order, several of the selections on the Prix Fixe menu were not available. The food was delicious and plentiful with interesting and tangy flavors, but when it came time for dessert they didn't have/were out of the promised selection so no dessert. The band was fantastic, though far too loud to talk over. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience, but given that we had all paid in advance for specific selections including dessert, the outcome was disappointing.
Written on May 10 2012Really good show and good food/drinks, but make sure you arrive early to get good seating as there are some view obstructions. Service was okay. Even though we paid for dinner and dessert, turned out no desserts were available. We did not get any discount on our meals, nor was anything offered in lieu of dessert We figured the total of tax/tip would be the cost of any dessert so we did not pay any more money. Upon leaving, the waiter followed us outside and asked for money - which I did not appreciate. I might go again if I can ensure a full menu ahead of time. Easy street/lot parking. HH in the bar til 7pm.
