Very funny play for a great price.Written on Feb 02 2011
Get there super early. I was there 20 mts before the show and I had to seat up stairs and lean forward in order to see the stage.

Bad writing is not uncommon, but why anyone would produce this play is beyond me. It wasn't well acted or directed either. thankfully, it was only a little longer than the hour that it was supposed to be.Written on Mar 02 2011

I found this play to be dreadful. The playwright's idea of "darkly comic" is to have random, senseless and cartoonish violence wrapped up in a package devoid of any point, story or meaning.Written on Mar 02 2011
There were some members of the audience laughing (not sure if they were friends of the cast) but I didn't find any of it funny. The acting was pretty weak and basic theatrical elements such as timing, staged fights and props were very amateurish.
If you like to see lots of fake blood and puke, this might be for you. If not beware.

Acting was great by any standard. The play was fantastic but may require being a little on the Warped side. Or like me really warped. Sort seem like like the feel of Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf but a lot more messy. Poor Pizza Guy!!!Written on Feb 03 2011

Description
Mr. Kolpert
written by David Gieselmann
directed by Mike Monroe
featuring J.T. Arbogast*, Kimberly Dilts*, Tommy French,
Justin McQuaig, Lauren Olipra, Adam Wasser * denotes member Actor's Equity Association
Ralf and Sarah are bored. They decide to invite a couple of friends over for drinks and pizza, and to spice things up, Ralf pretends there's a dead body in their trunk—the dead body of one of their colleagues at work. But maybe Ralf is not pretending after all…
Is this a bizarre party game for a bored middle class or does the trunk hold something much more sinister? With echoes of Joe Orton, Alan Ayckbourn and the menace of Hitchcock's Rope, Mr. Kolpert smashes humour and horror against contemporary German theatre to create a thoroughly-alarming black comedy.
