The young, talented dancers of Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre perform two of ballet's most lyrical works: Sleeping Beauty and Paquita. With a sumptuous score by Tchaikovsky, a fairy tale plot of the triumph of good over evil and classical courtly style, Sleeping Beauty is the ideal production for Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre's accomplished student dancers. Paquita is Petipa's virtuosic 1881 ballet about a young girl who saves the life of a young French officer, who himself is the target of a Spanish governor who plots to have him killed. A much-loved ballet that showcases the talents of its soloists, Paquita's choreography includes the famous Grand Pas Classique, the Pas de Trois and the Children's Mazurka. Learn More

Comprised of a talented team of producers who fuse traditional Mexican music with contemporary electronica, the Nortec Collective is one of the hottest musical groups to come out of Mexico in recent years. Based primarily in Tijuana, Mexico, the Nortec Collective’s headlining artists Bostich & Fussible build musical bridges where others build walls. An energetic blend of Norteño and techno, words from which they draw their name, the Nortec Collective’s musical mastery is magical.
