Witty and poignant, Opus pacts a lot of drama into this 90-minute play that explores the emotional dynamics at work behind this string quartet. If you arrive early, there's a cafe upstairs with baked snacks, coffee, beer (Newcastle and Stella) and wine (Beringer and Yellowtail).

Great concept. Great writing. Excellent production. Some terrific performances -- and some moments a tad much -- but all in all a wonderful treat!!

Full five stars and well deserved. As a former classical music producer I've witnessed at first hand some of the conflicts portrayed in this play. At times it was like watching musicians being actors and not vice versa and to achieve this illusion is a credit to the remarkable cast.
