Orpheus Descending at Theatre/Theater. Great cast, solid writing, direction and technical details. Way too warm at the matinee I attended, which made it feel more like the southern location of the play, but which also made me sleepy.Written on Feb 21 2010

I enjoyed the performance. Gale Harold was great and the other actors were good as well. The costumes and set design were really excellent. Unfortunately, we went on the night of the grand opening of the sports bar next door. During the third act, there was dance music blaring through the wall to the point where I couldn't concentrate on the play at all. I would definitely recommend calling the theater before buying tickets to see if the sports bar will be open on the night you want to attend.Written on Feb 23 2010
