British synth-pop icons Pet Shop Boys will return to North America this summer for "Pandemonium Tour" behind their recent release, Yes. Following a month-long European run, the duo--Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe--will bring the multimedia concert to the Greek Theatre stage.
The forthcoming tour, which is being directed by Es Devlin and choreographed by Lynne Page, will feature songs from the new work, as well as some of the pair's greatest hits. "Every night is Friday night on the tour," Chris Lowe said in a prepared statement.
Yes, the duo's 10th studio album, hit shelves in late April and debuted at # 32 on The Billboard 200, marking the band's highest-charting album since 1993's Very. Produced by Xenomania, Yes features 11 new songs, including the single "Love etc." USA Today’s headline of the CD review emphatically stated, “Pet Shop Boys' 'Yes' affirms their greatness. Since the band’s inception in 1981, the Pet Shop Boys have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
