Phil Alvin and Marquis Allen present a night of acoustic roots music at the Steve Allen Theater. Alvin is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of The Blasters, the acclaimed California band that pioneered the modern American roots music and rockabilly style in the '80s. Allen plays upright bass and sings with Hobo Jazz, and performs classic '20s tunes with Janet Klein and Her Parlor Boys. They'll be joined by Carlos Reynoso and Jeff Moran from Captain Jeff's Musical Chumbuckets.
