Dodgers Host Rockies on Adrian Gonzalez Bobblehead Night
- Full Price:
- $35.00 - $85.00
- Our Price:
- $18.00 - $50.00
Catch Major League Baseball action at historic Dodger Stadium, and come home with an Adrian Gonzalez bobblehead. The Dodgers acquired former Red Sox and Padres slugger Gonzalez in a late-season 2012 trade, and the first baseman has been one of Los Angeles' most reliable hitters since then. He joins rookie sensation Yasiel Puig, Dodgers veterans Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier, and more in the mighty Los Angeles lineup. They'll be facing an NL West rival in the Rockies, whose top players include shortstop Troy Tulowitzki and lefty outfielder Carlos Gonzalez. The first 50,000 fans through the gates will receive a free bobblehead upon entry. Learn More

I have some trouble getting around and always ask Goldstar if they can request accessible seating after I purchase tickets. And it always works out fine. Well, except this time.
Goldstar was great, as usual. But the Dodgers were not. The Dodgers do not fulfill these requests through Goldstar. Instead, after you make your Goldstar purchase, you have to contact the Dodgers directly -- which is an damn difficult thing to do.
The Dodgers website provides no phone number except Ticketmaster - who are never easy to deal with and were predictably unhelpful in this case.
The Dodgers website also has a fill-in-the-blank email function, but I have yet to receive a response to my request.
After multiple email exchanges with Goldstar (who were very patient and as accommodating as they could be) they found a phone number for Dodger Stadium and passed it along to me (323.224.1500). To give you an idea of how that organization is struggling to get it's act together, they answer the phone with "hello," rather than "Dodger Stadium" or any other indication of where you've called.
After asking about accessible seating, I was transferred to some guy's voice mail. I have yet to receive an answer to that message either.
I wound up just going down there, picking up my tickets, and squatting in seats I coule get to without stairs. Thank god it was a lightly attended game.
So the moral of the story is, try Angel Stadium and see if you have better luck. Or if you need accessible Dodgers seats, plan ahead. And I hate to say it, but you may be best off starting with the extortionists at Ticketmaster.
