Grrrrrreat opportunity to learn about current art & artists. Tour guide was informative and interesting in just the right measure. I discovered more than I ever thought I would.

I would definitely go back. Why not? I could have been home sitting on the couch watching yet another Law & Order episode. Instead I was out & about learning about the visual arts.

      It was inspirational!

The only reason this is not 4 star is that I'm just not that gushy to love it. ;-) Hearing background on the artists as we went around to see a portion of the exhibit added a LOT to the experience. Made the museum visit very worthwhile for us as people interested, but not immersed in the contemporary art world, and talking to the guides before the tour added a social dimension as they are very knowledgeable and accessible. They gave us a better picture of how LACMA as a whole is evolving, and even gave us an excellent suggestion, spot on for our taste and budget, for dinner.

Very informative. Not boring as some tours can be. Get the history and stories behind the BCAM building and art installations within. I loved it. One of the best museum tours I've taken.

Very informative tour guide. The tour lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes, though, which is a bit shorter than expected.

Quick Culture's gals were great and interesting with little known tidbits you'd never get on a regular tour! They had both been LACMA docents. The group was small. I'd go on another of their tours in a minute- probably the Costume Tour at FITAM. It was so worth it!

This was an interesting and informative 1 - 1 1/2 hour tour. We got some fascinating background on the artists and what inspired them, as well as interactions between the artists and other people and events of their time. The guide knew her subject well and did a great job of imparting the information. If the display changes, I'd take the tour again.

It was much more informative than just walking around, looking at exibits, we learned a few things we didn't know. An hour well spent!

The two ladies who give the Quick Culture tours are very well versed and have done a lot of background work that pays off in a very interesting tour which emphasizes the artists themselves rather than the art. Even though most of the art in BCAM is not my favorite, they definitely added another dimension to my appreciation of the work. I highly recommend any of their tours.
