A good, thoughtful and fun play. Definitely for an evening with a girlfriend, not so much a play most men would enjoy or relate to.

I really liked this play, but what's amazing is so did my easily bored boyfriend. Here's what he said on FB, "This Rapture, Blister, Burn play is really good, with Amy Brenneman (who i remember from Judging Amy, but she's done a bunch of other...continued

The play is smart, funny and relevant. The cast is excellent and the set terrific. It moves along at a great pace, and after you stop laughing, there is much to think about.

The leading character is a "feminist theorist" scholar, but thankfully, thie play is not just another anti-feminist polemic. The play is good, thought-provoking and often very funny. All the actors are terrific, especially Beth Dixon.

My four companions thought Rapture, Blister, Burn was great. I thought it was so so, and wanted it to just end. Now, pardon my change in tense. However, there are some great lines in it, and I have always liked the staging at the Geffen. The...continued

Great play, actors were wonderful. Had difficulties hearing, especially when actors were standing with their backs to you. Overall very enjoyable experience.

Smart witty writing with top notch female characters. Needs a little tightening in last part of the first act and the ending.

It was educational and hilarious. The generational differences on feminism were spot on. This was my second play ever (1st was Yes, Prime Minister!) and now I plan on attending the theatre at least once a month. This particular venue is nice...continued

Loved the play! Brilliant cast and production, and the wonderful writing kept my friends discussing the questions long after the end. Had terrific seats too. A great evening!

The play was excellent. Dialogue intelligent, thought provoking and interesting. It had a comedic irony which kept that audience laughing. The character development was deep. The acting very natural and very well executed. This play would do well...continued

Repture, Blister Burn, was an intelligent, energetic and entertaining
theatre experience.
While bringing the women's movement and its conflicts into
the 21st century, it captured the essence of making choices.
It was a few hours well...continued

It's always a pleasure to see a play with fantastic writing - maybe that's why it's up for a Pulitzer. Virginia Kull and Beth Dixon were phenomenal. Amy Brenneman has a great stage voice, too. I wasn't too crazy about some of the directorial...continued

Terrific cast! Well written and phenomenal actors. Loved the subject matter as I remember discussions and reading similar books during the 60's. My husband loved it too!
