Twenty years ago, Deano Goretti left a life of crime to start over in a quiet Maine town with a new wife and a new son. But when his buried past comes knocking on his door, the two worlds collide with a vengeance. Filled with razor-sharp dialogue and tough characters, John Pollono's Razorback is dark, nasty and very funny.

This Broadway hit musical, based on the beloved holiday tale, features the classic tunes "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas." The production stars John Larroquette (Night Court) as the narrator "Old Max" and Stefan Karl (Nick Jr.'s Lazy Town) as The Grinch. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville, breathing new life into this timeless story of the true meaning of the Holiday Season. Outstanding cast and powerful delivery. I really enjoyed the development of all the characters - the playwright did a great job packing in tremendous little details to make each one of them as multi-faceted as possible.
they said "fuck" A LOT....which doesn't bother me that much, but it might some other people. They should put a warning like "strong language" about that so people could make an educated decision about attending.

Razor sharp, hysterically funny, suspenseful, full of twists and turns, family drama....what more could you ask for??? This is one of the best productions I have seen this year - and I have seen a lot!
The cast is perfectly cast and each performance spectacular. I just heard it was extended (the house was packed when we were there last Saturday) so make sure you get there in the next two weeks.
As the first production from the Rogue Machine group, this is indicative of wonderful things to come!
