Outstanding!! If you like opera this is a must see. If you don't like opera this will win you over. I would give it more stars if I could. The singing was absolutely wonderful as were the sets and costumes. The tenor Grigolo sang as if blessed. The soprano Machaidze was great. Both really got into the characters. I've seen some of the great artists over the past 50 years and this was truly memorable. Wonderful second row seats--thank you Goldstar.Written on Nov 10 2011

Excellent staging and wonderful singing. Hardley knew when they were changing staging from scene to scene as there was always music to occupy you during that period.Written on Nov 08 2011
