More Information About Rosanne Cash Speaks
Description
The GRAMMY Museum, in conjunction with Notable Music Co., is honored to welcome singer and songwriter Rosanne Cash for an onstage interview discussing her songwriting process, her latest album The List (Manhattan Records) and her recently released memoir Composed (Viking).
Passed on from father to daughter during a conversation in 1973, a list titled 100 Essential Country Songs would act as an informal music education for Cash and in 2009, some thirty-six years later, several of those songs were recorded and released in Cash's first album of covers. In addition to her success as an artist and songwriter, she released her memoir Composed this year, which became an instant bestseller.
In the 200 seat Clive Davis Theater, Cash will perform a few songs with husband and producer John Leventhal as well as take questions from the audience.
