I HIGHLY recommend this bootcamp led by Lisa. She's a great instructor with abundant patience but a no-nonsense attitude. I loved how we started out with a shine and moved into the basic footwork for the partnering combinations fairly quickly. At a quick glance, we learned a shine (two parts) and multiple partnering combinations. There were 5 participants at the bootcamp, and almost everyone got to dance with the instructor multiple times (as she is also a fantastic lead). I gave only 3 stars because of the appropriate make-up of the participants. I wished that there were more leads that were at the same level as the follows, but I guess that's just "how it is" in salsa here in LA right now. I know this isn't Lisa's fault, but it would have made my experience 4-star worthy. Still, I was able to learn a lot about my own following skills and I was able to work on those areas for improvement.
By the end of this bootcamp, we were all worn out and ready for the yummy meal of beans, rice, chicken, beef, veggies, fruits.... you will leave satisfied in more ways than one!

Lisa is a great instructor. I truly have fun everytime I attend her sessions. She teaches a routine and that really helps me in understanding how to follow my male lead. She's also a fabulous person inside/out.

The class was small, so we all got individualized instruction. Lisa is an excellent instructor. I enjoyed the class. The after class meal was great.

Great class for intermediate-level dancers. Lisa is a wonderful instructor and tailors the class to challenge the ability of dancers with different levels of experience.

I've taken a lot of different types of dance lessons. Never before, have I seen instructors work to achieve such success with such a variety of students. Everyone walks away with new skills and techniques, and no one gets left behind.
Lisa is the way to go about learning salsa!
